Exxon Disappointed In Profits!!!

That's the headline in the May 2nd story from the St. Petersburg Times. Now read the headline again....it says they were disappointed. It doesn't say that they didn't make a profit. Of course they did! They always do.

According to the report, the company said that record crude prices helped its first-quarter profit climb 17% to $10.9-billion--the second-biggest U.S. quarterly corporate profit ever. EVER! See, they made a profit but they were disappointed with it. This beat the year-ago quarter profits of $9.3-billion.

They couldn't raise the prices fast enough at the pumps to offset the prices for crude which rose faster. Boy! They need to find out who is at fault with that foul-up and fire them! If they hire someone to sit at the pumps and change the prices every 15 minutes that wouldn't happen again! No, wait.....that would cut into their profits also. But if they used illegal immigrants they could pay them half the minimum wage.
Investors didn't seem overly impressed since Exxon Mobile shares fell $4.19 to $88.88. But hey, screw them, right? If I was the CEO or other officer I'd be happy with my paycheck and not worry about those cry-baby shareholders.

Did you know that the company produces 3 percent of the world's oil? And yet they have the highest profits of any company. How do they do that??

Take a guess who had the largest quarterly profit in history before this one set by Exxon. Go ahead, say it together.....Exxon Mobil! Yes folks, Exxon's fourth quarter profits last year were $11.7-billion

How much revenue in this first quarter you ask? How about $116.8-billion. That's a 34% increase in sales last year's first quarter. Which just goes to prove that no one is listening to me when I ask everyone to stop buying gas from Exxon Mobile. Well, except for me a a few family members. Everyone is still pulling into their stations and filling up. I really can't understand why. When you have an option to perhaps cut gasoline retail prices and you don't even make an attempt doesn't make sense to me. It doesn't even cost you a penny or require any extra effort on anyone's part but people keep following the one in front of them and falling over the cliff.

Just go to any other gas station in the country except Exxon/Mobil and get your gas. I won't bother explaining why, just read the posts before this one to see how it works. As Earl Pitts says, "Wake up America!"
